These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Services provided by A Good Life (the “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services unless explicitly permitted by an Organiser under a lawful program.
2. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Organiser features and responsibilities
Organisers can create and manage communities, events, discussion boards, memberships, and calendars.
Organisers are responsible for:
- The accuracy of event/community information (time, venue, pricing, eligibility)
- Any event-specific terms, refunds, cancellations, and safety measures
- Moderation of their community spaces and compliance with applicable laws
- Ensuring they have rights/permissions for content they publish
4. Member responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or infringing content
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
- Attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, or disrupt the Services
- Scrape or harvest data without permission
5. User content and licence
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the Services.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may remove content or suspend/terminate accounts if we believe there is a violation of these Terms, community guidelines, or applicable law, or if required for security.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and taxes
Some features may require a paid subscription.
- Pricing will be shown at checkout (generally in INR unless stated otherwise).
- Prices may be subject to applicable taxes, including GST.
- Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds (if any) will follow the refund policy displayed at purchase.
8. Promotions, trials, and coupons
We may offer promotions, trials, or discount codes. Each promotion may have additional terms (eligibility, duration, limits) and may be modified or withdrawn.
9. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with third-party services (e.g., calendars, email providers, payment gateways). We are not responsible for third-party services and their terms/privacy practices.
10. Termination
- You may stop using the Services at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for violations, security risks, or legal compliance.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Services stops immediately.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability for any claim will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Services in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or INR 1,000 if you have not paid us), unless a different minimum is required by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless from claims arising out of:
- Your content
- Your events/communities (if you are an Organiser)
- Your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms
14. Governing law and jurisdiction (India)
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction.
