1. Roles on the Platform
- Organisers / Community Managers: create and manage communities, events, discussion boards, RSVPs, memberships, and calendars.
- Members / Attendees: join communities, RSVP to events, participate in discussions, and manage their profiles.
Depending on how a community is configured, an Organiser may be an independent controller of certain member/attendee data they access through the Platform.
2. What data we collect
2.1 Account & profile data
- Name, email address, phone number (if provided)
- Username and profile details
- Profile photo/avatar (if enabled)
- Community memberships and roles (e.g., organiser, member)
2.2 Community, event & RSVP data
- Communities you create/join
- Events you create, manage, or RSVP to
- RSVP status (Yes/No/Maybe/Waitlist), guest count (if applicable)
- Event communications sent/received through the Platform
- Check-in/attendance information (if enabled)
2.3 Discussion and user-generated content
- Posts, comments, reactions, messages, and other content you submit
- Media/files you upload (if enabled)
- Reports/flags, moderation actions, and audit logs
2.4 Payments, subscriptions, and billing
- Subscription plan, billing address (if collected), invoices, payment status
- Transaction references and timestamps
Note: We generally do not store full card details. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors/payment gateways.
2.5 Device, log, and analytics data
- IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system
- Log data (pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps)
- Cookies and similar technologies

- Messages you send to support

5. How Organisers use Member/Attendee data
When you join a community or RSVP to an event, the relevant Organiser may be able to access certain information such as your name, profile details, and RSVP status.
Organisers are responsible for:
- Using exported/accessed data lawfully
- Sending communications in compliance with applicable laws
- Handling any event-specific requirements (e.g., venue rules, entry requirements)
6. Sharing of data
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers (hosting, storage, analytics, email delivery, customer support tools)
- Payment processors to complete transactions
- Organisers of communities/events you join (as needed for community/event operations)
- Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety
We do not sell personal data.
7. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies via your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.
8. Data retention
We retain data for as long as necessary to:
- Provide the Services
- Maintain security and prevent abuse
